Bold prints are kinda my ‘thing’, if you will.

Don’t misunderstand me now, I love a soft ultra-feminine look, but my heart is always drawn to the big fashion statements. I don’t exactly excel at buying “the basics”. And that is why this dress from Amazing Lace  is at the very top of my love list right now. It meets every one of my requirements. Bold pattern. Great fit and flare design. Right length. Right price. Comfy fabric. And bonus points for the black and white color palette. It’s another fav of mine.

I opted to pair this cute frock with a bold (whoa, I’m sensing a theme here) neon knit scarf and some black booties. I considered adding black tights under it, but in the end I went with a bare leg. If you’re in a snowy state, definitely pull out the tights. And if you need something even warmer on those legs, a great pair of heeled tall black boots would look amazing as well.

We can’t talk fashion without talking about all the little accessory elements that really pull a look together. I brought in a tiny bit of a second contrasting bright color with the pink earrings. I kept the bracelets simple with this one that I ended up purchasing from Rocksbox last month with a black and gold Aztec graphic design. Love it.

I’ve been wanting a black crossbody bag like this one for a while now. I was thrilled to find this one from Nordstrom’s a month or so ago at a really great price. If you’re looking for something similar, try their site. I oogled lots of really cute ones recently.

I highly encourage you to check out Amazing Lace  if you’re not already familiar with them! And be sure to use code: JanuaryHart for 10% off your order!

Now, I only have one more piece of business with you….have you entered the Nordstrom $550 Giveaway yet? Head over to Friday’s post to see the details and to enter! It ends tomorrow night!

Have a great night, lovelies!
