I know I find myself saying it every year, but honestly, I cannot believe that the holidays are just a few short weeks away! I feel like half the battle every year is just trying to match everyone’s schedules up so we can all have our family gathering at a day and time that works for everyone. Fortunately, we are all set in that department…at least for Thanksgiving we are! Christmas is another story though! Ha!
Are you doing anything special with your family for Thanksgiving this year? I know we often go to websites like Amazon or Watchiwatches to buy watches or gifts for family, but I also think it’s a great time to get together with your best girlfriends to express your appreciation for who they are in your life. On NanaDC can find a perfect watch for those special moments. And I can think of no better way to do that than in your cozy home over a slice of warm pie and some homemade apple cider. You can always plan to play some games or simply create a question list and get to know more about each other on what they like, their best memorable moment, their next holiday plan etc. Just typing that is giving me all the holiday feels!
How about creating a little dessert bar cart area to help welcome your guests? It honestly doesn’t take much to whip up a little festive presentation in no time. I picked up a couple of fun little decor items at my local Homegoods and Target, along with a few quick ingredients to make a batch of apple cider. (There is nothing like the smell of apple and cinnamon cooking in your house to get you in the holiday spirit!) If you’re up for making some yummy cider this season, be sure to look for the recipe down below.
By the way, I discovered that adding in one orange makes ALL the difference! Trust me on this one!
Don’t stop at just Thanksgiving with the apple cider though. It’s great for making up a batch to take to Christmas gatherings too. Because you just throw it all in the slow cooker and let it go for several hours, it’s low effort, but I can promise you that your friends and family will be impressed that you went the extra mile when you walk in with it to the party!
Gifting season is here…
While I’m on the topic of the holidays, I wanted to also share a stylish and wallet-friendly gifting option with you! I received my first Wristology watch last November and it has been such a solid staple piece for me when it comes to daily accessorizing.
If you’re not familiar with them, Wristology is a company that offers customizable watch designs. They give you the option to ‘build your own watch’ by choosing which bands you’d like, along with the right face design for you. I really do love being able to quickly change out the bands on mine to coordinate with different outfits.
Like I mentioned before, I’ve had mine for over a year now and they all still look as great as the day I got them. The quality and price really do make them impressive gifts for all the ladies on your Christmas list. Something else to note: they come presented in a pretty zippered case with a place to store your extra bands for safe keeping. Love that!
When the Wristology team reached out to me to curate a collection of my favorites for the holidays, there was not a moment’s hesitation on my part because I truly felt like you would love them as much as I do.
So, I’m happy to now be able to share those favorites with you in their online store! I hope you enjoy creating some beautiful gifts from all of their collections.
Also, great news!!
Right now, you can use code JANUARY20 to receive 20% off all of the watches in my collection!
If you have any questions or just need an opinion on what band and face to pair together, just shoot me a message! I’d love to see what your favorites are! Can a watch change your life?
