Of all the great eateries we visited during New York Fashion Week, my favorite was Oficina 1M NYC Cafe. Kind of a mouthful, right? There are two different locations, but we stopped at the Broom Street location in the Soho area on our last day for brunch and loved both the vintage-chic atmosphere and freshness of the food. It was such a nice day so we sat outside, but the inside has so many charming little details as well.
I had the organic skillet baked eggs with THE best Italian sausage and rosemary potatoes, but as a self professed purveyor of all things carbohydrate, I cannot say enough about the handmade bread. Ridiculously good.

I’ve been to charming restaurants that had great atmosphere, but the food was seriously lacking and vice versa. So, a place like this one that excels in both areas is a real gem in my book and I can’t wait to stop in again on the next trip.
If you’re making a visit to New York area any time soon and you enjoy a vintage-chic cafe atmosphere, definitely plan to make a stop there. And bread….definitely order the bread!
Trust me on that one.
