It never fails.

Every year when the Christmas holidays come to an end, I get that almost immediate itch to transition over to spring dressing. Luckily, living in the south makes that pretty easy though. With temps that are shorts weather one day and coats the next, it really does help to keep the fashion choices interesting, I must say.

Finding pieces that transition well to the next season is important and sometimes challenging, I find….which is why simple dresses like this one are so great. You can wear them with a warm scarf and tall boots now then shed the layers and trade the boots for sandals as the weather warms up.

Keeping the colors light and cheerful also lends well to the overall spring feeling as well. So while you certainly don’t HAVE to only wear pastels to signal spring, adding in a few lighter color pieces just might help get you in that warmer climate mindset.

What kinds of pieces do you guys like to transition with for the spring months? With my sweater burnout becoming a real thing these days, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of these types of posts from me for the next few weeks! Hope that’s cool with you guys! Let me know!
