The Ultimate Influencer Retreat Experience

One of the VERY best things about being in the life + style blogging sphere is getting to meet up and spend time chatting with other ladies who log similar countless hours doing what you do! Honestly, get a couple of bloggers together and watch just how much they have to talk about! It’s the best!

I recently got invited to attend the very first Girls Meet Globe event in New Orleans for the day and we had an absolute blast, you guys! Girls Meet Globe is a by invitation only Influencer retreat that gets bloggers together to network/chat/socialize with each other and brands. We spent the day together enjoying brunch, drinks and a professional photo shoot with clothing/goodies from local companies and boutiques.

So basically we’re talking about a style blogger’s dream Saturday. Ha!

One of the definite highlights for me was being able to shoot in this super comfy embroidered romper from the French Quarter location of Hemline Boutique. The sleeve and ruffle details make it such a fun piece for spring and summer. If you’re located in the south, be sure to check out one of the 23 locations. It’s always a treat to be able to stop in and see all that they have to offer.

The event was held at the Catahoula Boutique Hotel in downtown New Orleans. SUCH a charming place to stay overnight if you’re ever in the area! It’s a former creole townhouse that’s been completely restored, yet still retains so many of the great details from its’ original design.

The rooftop terrace made for such a fun backdrop. (By the way, I just found out that I missed getting to watch Pretty Woman in the Rooftop Cinema last week! Dang it!)

They were getting ready for their one year Birthday party, so music was playing and pretty drinks were being passed around, not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect.

Just a great, great day! SO looking forward to seeing where the next Girls Meet Globe event takes place!
