The big weekend is finally here and I hope you all are enjoying this time with family and friends. After having to reschedule our Christmas get together with Pete’s side of the family yesterday with a sick little boy, all feels well again this morning. After four days of Tamiflu, our little patient is feeling much better just in time for Christmas and we couldn’t be more thankful!
We will be spending the day here at home with family and all heading to church tonight together. I’m playing hostess this year so I’m hoping I can get all the cooking timed out right! I’m getting a head start this morning with dessert already baking in the oven, so I’m feeling on top of my game so far!

But before the craziness really gets going, I wanted to pop in and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I’m so thankful for each and every one of you! The fact that you take the time to stop in each week here at the blog truly means so much! I pray you have a wonderful long weekend with great fellowship and take time to rejoice and reflect on the gift of Jesus.
Jesus was God’s gift to the world, not just for Christmas, but for every single day — your whole life through — and even beyond for eternity.

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for He shall save his people from their sins.
