Fit Crunch Bars by Robert Irvine

I heard about these from a pretty reliable source and guess what? She didn’t let me down. These do not taste like a protein bar. They’ll really more like a candy bar. My husband really enjoys the peanut butter version, while the chocolate chip cookie dough one is more my speed.

PE Science Protein Powder in Cake Pop

A recent protein cookie recipe I came across called for this specific protein powder in the vanilla flavor (really good too!), so I ordered a couple of different flavors while I was at it to see how I liked them. In addition to the vanilla and the cake pop flavor, I also got the snickerdoodle AND they sent me a sample of the mocha (yum!) Honestly, they are all really good and don’t leave any kind of unpleasant aftertaste. I’ll be buying more of it when I run out. Here you will get the best idea about body cooling foods.

Kodiak Waffle & Pancake Mix Buttermilk

Is it just me or is the Kodiak brand everywhere in the grocery store right now?! They make so many high protein goodies! I tested out their waffle and pancake mix in the traditional buttermilk flavor in my waffle maker and I was SUPER impressed. I love the idea that you can have your waffle AND get your protein in it too. Plus, you can also cut some of the mix and sub in your favorite protein powder to get your protein up there even further if you like. The ONLY thing I didn’t love was the carb count, but that simply has to do with my current macro goals.

Quest Loaded Taco Tortilla Chips

I kind of go hot and cold with the Quest brand, in general, to be honest. But, I had seen people rave about this new Loaded Taco flavor chips on a Facebook thread. I ended up stumbling on them while I was in Target one day, bought a bag and was really pleasantly surprised. The flavor is spot on and the texture is pretty good as well. I do find that I tire of the texture alone before the flavor though, which is why I think they’re good to crumble on top of a taco salad or burrito bowl to beef up your protein. They pack a hefty 19 grams of protein!

Speedy Sides in Sesame Teriyaki Flavor

Ok, this last one is not about protein, but it was so tasty, I thought I should let you guys know about it if you haven’t already tried it on your veggies yet. I’m a sucker for teriyaki flavor on just about anything, so I had a pretty good feeling about this side prep solution. SUPER easy to toss your vegetables in the container it comes in, shake it up good, put it in the microwave and boom! A unique take for your everyday vegetables. If you get bored with yours like I do from time to time, these seasoning packs are great to pick up on your Sunday grocery run. (Also, they come in two other flavors as well….Herb Butter and Three Cheese.)
