Romeo Rolled Cutoff Shorts
I have three pairs of the Romeo shorts in different washes and colors. They’re just the perfect washed look and I’m a fan of the button fly detail on them. I will say that I’m only 5’3″ (but with a bit of a booty) so they probably tend to look a little shorter on me. I think deciding on how fitted you want them will dictate how short they are. All that said, I bought mine last summer and still love them this year. I’ve thrown them on over my swimsuit, worn them with a tee shirt, and I also dress them up with some cute booties.
Parker Shorts
If you’re looking for a pair of relaxed denim shorts without a ton of distressing and that give good butt coverage, the Parker shorts are a great option. I’m wearing them both above and below in the photos just to give you an idea of how they fit. I love these for no-fuss days, when I don’t want to put a ton of effort into a look or I just plain want to be comfortable. I have the shorter ones, but they also come in a longer length as well.
501 Original Levi Shorts
There’s a reason Levi’s have been around for forever. They’re dependable, durable and classic. The original 501’s are your go-to shorts when you just want to be comfortable and look effortless. I love the lighter wash on these and the classic 5 pocket design.
American Eagle Denim Mom Shorts
I can’t even tell you the number of American Eagle denim shorts and jeans I’ve bought over the years! They’re always the brand I go to first for affordable, stylish denim each season. I love the relaxed fit of these mom style shorts and the fact that they have a good amount of stretch to them.
Abercrombie & Fitch Denim Mom Shorts
The past few years, I’ve really become a big shopper of the Abercrombie brand. They know my color palette, what can I say? Ha!
The thing I always love most about their denim is the wash and durability. It may just be me, but some brands just “get” the whole distressed wash thing and I really think Abercrombie does a great job with it. These denim mom shorts are no exception. They come in several washes and always sell like hotcakes each year.
