Good Monday morning to you!
Ok, moms, are your kiddos back in school yet? Ours went back a week or so ago and while I was a bit sad to see our lazy summer days together end, I’ve now shifted over to joy and productivity in those 8 short days. Ha!
While I know we all have family must-haves to do now that everyone is back to a routine, I do hope you take a day or few to relax and reflect on the goodness of those summer days with your little ones. The fact that, as moms, we only get 18 short summers with our kiddos hit me hard this summer. As a result, I really tried to focus on being in the moment with our boys the past couple of months, hence the often radio silence here on the blog over the past several weeks.

I wanted to pop in this morning with a few ideas for you stay at home moms on your first day of freedom without your kiddos during the daylight hours.
Mommas, send those babies on their way (No worries, you’ve prepped them well and they are ready to tackle this new season of life!) and put a few of these on your to-do lists this week!
Back to School Ideas for Moms

Meet the hubby for breakfast or lunch, just the two of you.
| TWO |
Head to the nearest coffee shop, put on your earbuds and listen to your favorite tunes or podcast.
| THREE |
Reconnect with a friend either via phone call or in person.
| FOUR |
Go for a drive. Nothing beats a no-agenda drive with the tunes playing and the wind blowing through your hair!
| FIVE |
Pick up some flowers…you deserve ’em! Arrange them in a vase and enjoy them all week long.
| SIX |
Read your bible or devotional and reflect on the best parts of your summer with the kiddos. Honestly, I know I don’t need to tell you, but the days really do fly by and our little ones are growing up before our eyes. Take time to thank God for the blessings that they are in your life.
